Our Youth Build program assists students in gaining knowledge of many of the construction trades and developing necessary soft skills to acquire gainful employment by having them attend a month long orientation. Following the orientation, students are trained and instructed at our worksite located at 5900 Martin Luther King Drive in numerous construction skills for four to six months while getting paid for their training, along with getting an Educational Stipend for attending class, a necessary component to their worksite training. The Youth Build Program Director, along with the Youth Build Program Counselor and the Hi-Tech Charities Librarian help students gain admittance in various construction union apprenticeship programs and acquire gainful employment in construction and other related fields.
